The castle of Estrac, overlooking the valley of the Gaves brought together is a private domain open to the public during cultural events or during privatization for events or stays in the calm of its large trees. The village, a bastide of the fourteenth century, is a true haven of peace which, in the past, had a strategic position for river control of the combined Gaves.
