The Jardin Blanc and the Jardin des Plantes tinctoriales are located on the terraces of the castle of Lauris, overlooking the valley of the Durance. This exceptional place, with a panoramic view from the Alpilles to the Sainte Victoire, is one of the largest architectural gardens built in Europe in the 18th century. The Jardin Conservatoire is entirely devoted to dyeing plants: more than 250 species from which dyes are extracted for dyeing, painting, ink, food and cosmetics. Both conservatory of species and educational space open to all public from May to October.
