The 5 senses in the garden of Eole.

Our garden is the ideal place where visitors can exercise their sensitivity: the pleasure of discovery by the diversity of colors, the plant palette being declined in different shades for flowers, foliage... by sublime perfumes, roses, goats, aromatic plants, fragrant foliage of some perennials... the pleasure of wandering through a garden of about 2000 square meters punctuated with charming, sunny or shaded places, garden furniture being distributed a little everywhere invite the visitor to settle down and to enjoy serenely the moment while contemplating a euphoria and a diversity of perennials, shrubs and trees creating varied atmospheres. The possibility to touch and feel the various textures of the foliage as the rabbit ear, all soft and velvety, the fragrant foliage of the orange tree of Mexico... We are refuge LPO and as such nest boxes are installed in the garden, we distribute food to birds from November to April and water all year round with different water points like an old bath, a small pond etc... we have a great diversity of birds including thirty goldfinches, musical thrush, flycatcher, robin and many others! Their singing is a real joy! We plant honey plants in order to attract a wide variety of insects, with for example a flowering fallow.
Our garden is enamelled with objects and furniture in flea market, statue, bird cages, aviary, old baskets, garden furniture...
The visit of the garden is completed by the visit of the collection of ancient garden tools and documents on horticulture, with pieces ranging from the 17th century to the mid-20th. There are unusual objects such as the pagoscope or jelly alarm already listed in a guide clause 1914, flower pickers, echehenillors, pruners of various shapes, old distributors of seed bags, glass bells, old earthen pots, railway wooden shovels, botanist’s pickaxe from 1835, vineyard guards, various fruit picking, copper and earth watering cans and even the unusual "mole rifle", this is not an exhaustive list so large is the diversity of tools and objects collected!
this collection of tools being supplemented by various old documents: seed catalogues, posters, books, seed bags, garden plans...
2 tours are commented, visitors can ask all possible questions, we are inexhaustible on the subject and will answer with great pleasure!

My husband and I offer to visit the public a collection of ancient tools of gardeners, from the 18th century to the mid-20th century, as well as a series of old documents on horticulture, including unpublished objects and tools such as "the pagosccpe" (a 1914 frost detector), beautiful flower pickers etc ...We also visit our garden, planted with a large number of perennials and flowering shrubs and colorful foliage, maples of Japan... this garden is embellished by old garden lounges, old bird cages, water points because we are also LPO refuge. It’s been 13 years since we created and built this place. We take great pleasure in making the commented visit of the exhibition of s tools and the garden with each visitor and are open to any questions and remarks!
