Discover the recent developments in the city around green spaces that aim to adapt to the climate challenge : creation of freshness islands, de-waterproofing of soils, choice of plants in accordance with the Plan for the Safeguarding and Enhancement of the Old Centre (PSMV). So many actions that contribute to the return of biodiversity in the city and the improvement of the living environment.

The Hèbre Museum brings together the Museum of Art and History and the Heritage Service, responsible for implementing the City of Art and History label.
In this place with contemporary architecture in the heart of the city, the Hèbre museum presents a series of spaces intended to highlight the past of this singular new city of the seventeenth century that is Rochefort.
The collections of the museum consist of a gallery of paintings of great diversity, which allows to approach a wide panorama of eras and artistic movements, of two spaces dedicated to Pierre Loti (whose house is currently under restoration), of a CIAP tracing the history of the city with notably the astonishing relief of Rochefort designed by Touboulic in 1835 and collections of objects from the Oceanian, African or Asian continents, testimonies of the many exchanges between this maritime city and the world.
The Hèbre museum, labeled Musée de France, is also a space with a renewed cultural program and open to many artist
