A nature course on an island of Ariège in Cintegabelle!
Discover the unique fauna and flora of this wetland with its colourful birds (mallard, European loriot…) and its “white wood” trees, specific to the banks of the river, some of which are protected, such as the White Willow.
Through 10 informative panels along the route, also discover the history of the site, how this island and its vegetation formed. You will also learn about the primordial role of dead trees in this ecosystem, how they contribute to biodiversity and make the site attractive to several species of forest birds.
