Jardin Annabelle
1 rue de Toytot, 39290 Rainans
- Jura
- Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
In the Annabelle garden there are 3 gardens. The first, around the house, is the oldest and is more particularly dedicated to the hydrangea genus. The second and finally the third were planted only since the year 2000.
You will not find, as in the national collection of «Shamrock», in Varengeville-sur-Mer (76), hydrangeas planted by breeder.
We wanted to create a constant mix of species to prove that they are not exclusive plants and that they can be associated with the most diverse species that will enhance them and vice versa. It is diversity that creates life, so we must imitate nature.
The other woody plants planted in these gardens were used to create shaded areas for hydrangeas. The plants were purchased mostly in Europe (France, Belgium, Netherlands, England, Italy, Germany) and also in Japan and the United States for hydrangea.
