Domaine du Grand Daubeuf
Le Château, D926, 76110 Daubeuf-Serville

Built in 1629 on the foundations of a medieval manor house, according to a plan attributed to François Mansart (1598-1666), the castle of Daubeuf remained inhabited until today. Located in the heart of a vast agricultural estate in the fertile country of Caux, the site was extensively transformed at the end of the 19th century, under the impetus of its owner at the time, Armand de Pomereu d'Aligre. Around 1880, two side wings were attached to the castle and its facade redesigned. Imposing horse-shoe-shaped stables and a spectacular kennel were built nearby. At the same time, Eugène Bühler (1822-1907), a renowned landscape architect, designed the Bas Garden and the water room behind the castle. Acquired in 2014 by Jérémie and Guyonne Delecourt, the estate is a listed historical monument and is currently undergoing a major restoration campaign. It opened its doors to the public in 2017.
