The theme chosen for the 21st Rendez-vous aux jardins «The five senses in the garden» offers the opportunity to discover multiple sensations at the Pagoda of Chanteloup.

  • The view: a 360° panorama from the top of the 44 m Pagoda
  • Hearing: birds singing and the soothing sounds of the harp by Renaud Kulemann, harp therapist, Saturday, June 1
  • Smell: the delicate scents of lime and exotic flowers from the small Chinese garden of FU-XI
  • Taste: "Les Amis de abeilles" will present the subtleties of the beekeeper’s and bees' work, and the sweet flavours of their honey
  • Touch: contact with matter: the velvety flower, the fluffy grass, the strength of tree trunks, the spiciness of roses… But also the sporting and artistic contact of the Wushu arts presented on Sunday, June 2.

À propos du lieu

Domaine de Chanteloup
Route de Bléré 37400 Amboise
  • Indre-et-Loire
  • Centre-Val de Loire
The Pagoda of Chanteloup, an 18th century madness, in the heart of the Loire Valley castles, is the testimony of the Duke of Choiseul’s castle, destroyed in 1823, of which a virtual restitution is presented on the site. It offers from the top of its 44 m, a grandiose panorama over the forest of Amboise and the Loire Valley. In the 14-hectare park, enjoy the joys of the «old-fashioned games» made of wood or a country picnic, discover the small Chinese garden inviting you to meditation, and the calm of a boat ride on the Grande Pièce d'Eau.
