The Bastideum is the Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine of Monpazier, bastide founded in 1284\. Today a remarkable heritage site, Monpazier has preserved its medieval architecture and illustrates the history of these medieval towns in the south-west of France. The Bastideum allows a playful approach to medieval history thanks to its permanent exhibition, accompanied by its collection of ancient games and its garden of medieval inspiration. Each year, a new temporary exhibition and themed activities complete the offer for all ages.
