Three years ago we created a garden without tillage according to Charles Dowding’s method by integrating existing elements. Today we produce our own compost according to the May Bruce method which in the 30s and 40s developed a composting system with a plant-based activator that turns the plant matter alone into high quality humus in just a few weeks, without the need to turn the pile or use manure. We also incorporate micro-organisms and compost tea that we produce ourselves to improve the microbiota in our soil. We have integrated elements of agro-forestry, that is to say integrate fruit trees and berry shrubs. Having a permaculture certification (PDC) we always integrate several objectives in everything we do: humus reconstitution, soil regeneration, water retention, CO2 storage, climate adaptation, biodiversity, harvest throughout the year while integrating aesthetics and the greedy side when it comes to plant selection (from the earth to the plate).
