Opening of the exhibition «Secret gardens, extraordinary gardens» / The view

«We only see well with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes» as Saint-Exupéry in the Little Prince, each has been able to express itself artistically to reveal a plastic story from dream to reality.

The setting of the garden of La Pépinière was the plant theater that we shared together. This passage to Art, this singular expression, we like to make known to all those who wish it.

The Centre d'Hébergement d'Urgence la Pépinière opened its doors in May 2021, near the banks of Marne. Located in the footsteps of the former observatory of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, the Emmaus Solidarity association has invested this site to welcome sixty families with young children.
Alongside the social support offered to host families, an animation service dedicates its time to conviviality, to the life of the place as well as to the valorization of its heritage. Its atypical garden of 2.6 hectares with a rich biodiversity is the subject of permaculture workshops and botanical visits. One of the objectives of the Pépinière is to be open to the public so that everyone can enjoy the richness of this space and its inhabitants.
