The "Jardin des Arts" is located near the Manoir de la Possonnière, birthplace and childhood setting of the poet Pierre de Ronsard. The site, allows to discover a half-timbered barn of more than 100m ², of the seventeenth century adjoining a restored farmhouse.
The design of the 4000 m² garden was inspired by the artist’s paintings with its wide movements associated with a very delicate palette of colors: on a grassy surface, legacy of the meadow, paths traced in soft curves, The structure of the barn, restored in the respect of its rustic character. The wall, which already fenced the farmyard, with its two pillars in tuffeau stone, was respected, soberly dressed in ivy, trellis, honeysuckle, and a more opulent glycine with blue-mauve fleece, during its spring flowering. On the courtyard side, using the tufa wall, the delicate spiral of an ammonite and a rustic trough, the fountain came later to bring the song of its water net, as an invitation to extend the visit to the barn-exhibitio
