Garden World of the Rococo
In 1742/43, Prince Leopold I of Anhalt-Dessau, the famous creator of the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz, gave two estates in Mosigkau to his favorite daughter Anna Wilhelmine, which were redesigned by the princess as a summer residence and castle. The unmarried princess contributed with skill and empathy to the design of the house. After completion, she performed the treatments prescribed by the doctor with spa water, herbs and a lot of exercise and often received visitors**.**

Due to her smart and economical economy, Anna Wilhelmine was one of the most financially strong women of Anhalt in her later years.
The Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 2000.
