As part of the festival Rendez-vous aux jardins the exhibition ‘Les cinq sens au jardin’ displays work from an ongoing collaboration between Birmingham City University, UK and Joshibi University of Art and Design, Japan.

Developed during the covid lockdown a series of online lectures connect the Institutions lecturers and students with the delivery of lectures which focus on the creation and use of natural pigments, fabric dyeing, colour psychology, circular design and colours relationship with music.

Located on the side of a hill with a view of the bell tower of Rioux-Martin, the garden of Cairnhill, refuge LPO, is lined by a stream and a river. In this picturesque executive(frame) the artist Joss Burke began this environmental garden of English style in 2009 and put the emphasis on mellifères plants. The garden develops and encourages biodiversity by respecting environment. An exhibition(exposure) of contemporary art will accompany the opening of the garden.
