Located on the edge of the ancient center of the Vans, the museum is housed in the buildings of a former convent and an old silk mill. Through five exhibitions the museum reveals the different facets of a very contrasting territory but which forms a singular whole: the Ardèche Cevennes. The collections of geology, archaeology, ethnography and medicine reveal the nature, culture or personality of the men who shaped this historic region.
