Go hunting for the five senses in the park of the Centre d'art contemporain de la Matmut - Daniel Havis!

A seeded paper brochure will be offered. Once planted, the paper seeds become beautiful floral and aromatic plants.
Your challenge? Go on a sensory discovery of the thematic gardens of the Art Center and the monumental works that dot them by answering correctly the questions and completing a maximum of proposed missions.

Free access and open to all, young and old, amateurs or connoisseurs… the Centre d'art contemporain is a place dedicated to temporary exhibitions of emerging and confirmed artists. The Centre d'art contemporain de la Matmut opens to the public in December 2011\. This 17th century building is built on the former fief of Varengeville belonging to the Abbey of Jumièges and becomes in 1887 the property Gaston Le Breton (1845-1920), director of the departmental museums of Seine-Maritime (Musée des Antiquités, Musée de la Céramique and Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen). The latter razes the castle, judged too in ruins, and reconstructs it almost identical. Only the small pavilion (gloriette) of Louis XIII style is a testimony of the original building. After several years of work from 1891 to 1898, painters, sculptors, musicians and composers met there. At the rhythm of the seasons, in the 6-hectare park, there is a meeting between art and landscape (arboretum, Japanese garden, rose garden). The
