Created in 2005 in the heart of the historic district of Valencia, the Armenian Heritage Centre (Le Cpa) is a unique cultural institution in Europe dedicated to the history of peoples and cultures. A place of exchanges and discoveries open to the world, it offers throughout the year a citizen cultural program. With more than 400 m2, its permanent exhibition is particularly focused on the destinies of Armenians from the former Ottoman Empire. From the testimony of the history of the Armenian diaspora to the present day, Le Cpa explores more broadly issues related to peoples and identity, exile, conflicts and their memory. A real resource for research and the transmission of knowledge on migration, it invites the public to question these issues and to take another look at the contemporary world and its challenges. The Cpa is just a 10-minute walk from the city centre train station. It is possible to come quickly from the two nearest metropolises: • 1h15 from Lyon (motorway access and train station) • 1h30 from Grenoble (motorway access and train station) Come to Cpa by public transport? It is possible! • From PÔLE BUS (CITEA lines/ Libélo service): 2 min walk • From VALENCE VILLE train station: 4 min (CITEA lines C1, 09, 10/ Libélo service) OR 6 min walk • From VALENCE TGV train station: 30 min (CITEA IC lines, 14/ Shuttle TER K021) • Bicycle parking is available on the square in front of the Cpa. For people with a disabled parking card, it is possible to park in front of the courthouse (paid parking), located a few minutes walk from the Cpa. The spaces of the Cpa are accessible for people with reduced mobility.
