Brain Body Digital Music Instruments: making music with the electricity of the body and brain
Demonstration of a research and creation project hosted at the MSH Paris Nord, with electrodes placed on the bodies of musicians. A prototype sound processing device invites new ways of making and hearing music in the garden environment. We integrate the advances of the ANR BBDMI project to appropriate the EMG and EEG technologies of music with the electricity of the body and the brain, developing prototypes of open source and open hardware instruments.
