Listening to the garden, sound walk in the garden of the MSH Paris Nord - for schools
Listening to the garden, sound walk,
Visit of the garden by Diane Schuh for a primary class The garden of the MSH Paris Nord is a place of biodiversity. It is designed as a moving garden: the species planted are left free to the reconquest, simply guided by some annual mowing. This garden is inaccessible to humans for much of the year, allowing non-humans: plants, birds, insects, sometimes cats, to appropriate this territory. During this walk, we will invite participants to practice the Art of Attention by exercising our five senses. We will observe the plants with magnifying glasses and discover the relationships between them. We will be able to touch and feel them. We will discover the acoustics and the sound environment of the garden by offering listening exercises. Diane Schuh is a musician and landscape artist, PhD student in music (at the University of Paris 8/ Musidanse/ CICM). >> view the full program of Rendez-vous aux jardins at MSH Paris Nord on Friday, May 31, 2024 https://www.mshparisnord.fr/event/rendez-vous-aux-jardins-2024/
