«The Garden of Elisabeth and Didier» in Betschdorf opens its doors for a weekend, for a free visit in a bucolic setting, with original sensory experiences and tastings articulated around the five senses. The garden will have the pleasure of welcoming visitors of all ages, on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 June 2024 from 13:30 to 19:00; the site is accessible to people with reduced mobility and will offer for the occasion particularly visually impaired experiences rich in emotions.
On the program of this 21st edition of Rendez-vous aux jardins: a round table, animations, demonstrations of know-how, interactive for young and old and, words of the owners-gardeners, the promise to leave home, with the feeling of having a great afternoon.
At the end of the visit, you can exchange with the owners of the premises. Languages: French, German, English. The garden can be visited from May to October (by appointment only).
It can also be rented for private events and photo shoots.

A creative garden known as «of recent creation» which unfolds over a space of 2,000 m², a real living place for its owners. A garden in constant evolution offering different atmospheres and inviting to relaxation. Some of the tall trees were already there, when in 2017 Elisabeth and Didier undertook to reshape the space according to their desires. The old orchard of the grandmother gave way to an ornamental garden with perennial beds, riprap and small water spaces. The traditional vegetable garden of yesteryear now hosts a vegetable garden of more modest dimensions with wooden squares where are installed in particular the aromatic plants; built in some way as a plant room, the new vegetable garden area deliberately emphasizes the ornamental aspect, combining vegetables, fruits and flowers, thus offering a nice transition to the large landscaped garden.
