Château de Preisch

The castle of Preisch welcomes you with pleasure for the Rendez-vous aux jardins 2021 on the theme "The transmission of knowledge".
This is an opportunity to learn while having fun through a new family activity in the park: a nature treasure hunt on the theme of water, rabbits, the vegetable garden, and insects. A great way to rediscover biodiversity in a natural space!
Whether you are out with your family or with friends, come and spend a relaxing moment in the English park and its botanical poetic path. You can also discover the castle's permaculture vegetable garden full of old varieties of fruits and vegetables.
Wooden games are also waiting for you, or a fabulous treasure hunt, a mysterious hunt for footprints in the forest, and, of course, our farm animals. A refreshment bar will also allow you to quench your thirst, either in the shade of the park's two hundred year old trees, or next to the ruins of a castle and its moat.

À propos du lieu

Parc du château de Preisch
2, rue des lilas, Basse-Rentgen, Moselle, Grand Est

  • Grand Est
The English park of the castle of Preisch was developed from 1812 to emphasise the feudal clod of the old(former) fortified castle. Its double staves(moats), its footbridges in cast iron and its trees bicentenaries make a highly romantic place. A botanical route(course) orientates the visitor. The old(former) kitchen garden became a garden of topiary expressionists imagined by Hubert Puzenat, architect landscapist.
