The garden is a given form of nature, entirely created by man. In monasteries, these spaces of nature have in addition to their nourishing or therapeutic virtues, a symbolic significance. On the Route des 3 Abbayes, Moyenmoutier the baroque rises, majestic and elegant, on the banks of the Rabodeau. Founded in 671 by Saint Hydulphe, the "middle monastery" has repeatedly sheltered the learned elite of the Benedictine order. After being hidden for nearly two centuries by industrial buildings, the facade of the abbey is finally unveiled! Its 4ha of gardens invite relaxation and a new look at these majestic buildings.
