The tightrope walkers of the Cie des Chaussons Rouges are inspired by memories of the inhabitants of the Chartreuse of yesterday and today and evoke the taffetières of the nineteenth century. On a steel wire that splits the space of the large cloister, their performance opens a permanent dialogue with the architecture. From dawn to dusk, their aerial choreography reveals the poetic dimension of the place.
