Sur le chemin qui mène au cimetière du village, une procession de femmes en noir affronte la chaleur du soleil, serrant contre elles les photos de leurs époux, leurs pères ou leurs fils... Le film tournant autour de l’entente communautaire, sur fond de conflit au Liban, qui est lui-même un pays qui attache l’appartenance religieuse à une part de la citoyenneté, nous avons estimé que ce film fait le lien avec l’objet de notre association qui défend la laïcité. La laïcité française veut en effet que la République ne reconnaisse pas les cultes, en principe, mais seulement des citoyens, qu’importe leurs croyances.
En partenariat avec la FAL, en présence de Alain Vantroys, Délégué régional de la LDH. Ciné-Débat dans le cadre de la Semaine de la Laïcité. En partenariat avec le collectif 3CiT - Festival du Film Citoyen.

Zaterdag 9 december, 20:00 uur EN WAAR GAAN WE NU HEEN? By Nadine Labaki 2023 | Frankrijk, Libanon | 1h50 | VOSTF met Nadine Labaki, Yvonne Maalouf, Claude Baz Moussawbaa op de weg die leidt naar de dorpsbegraafplaats, ziet een processie van vrouwen in het zwart de hitte van de zon tegemoet, en drukt tegen hen de foto's van hun echtgenoten, hun vaders of hun zonen... De film draait rond het gemeenschapsakkoord, tegen de achtergrond van het conflict in Libanon, dat zelf een land is dat religieus deel uitmaakt van een deel van het staatsburgerschap, vonden wij dat deze film de link legt met het doel van onze vereniging die het secularisme verdedigt. Het Franse secularisme wil dat de Republiek in principe geen culten erkent, maar alleen burgers, ongeacht hun geloof. In samenwerking met de FAL, in aanwezigheid van Alain Vantroys, Regionale afgevaardigde van de LDH. Ciné-Débat Als onderdeel van de week van het secularisme.
