Während der Revolution wurde das ehemalige Krankenhaus auf dem Gelände des Maison-Dieu als unhygienisch eingestuft. Die Krankenhausfunktion wurde in das ehemalige Kloster der Töchter des Heiligen Franziskus verlegt, in der Nähe der Kirche Notre-Dame.
Zunächst wurden die Gebäude restauriert und zwischen dem späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert umgebaut, wodurch der Ort seine heutige Gestalt erhielt. Die Ausstellung zeichnet diese Periode seiner Krankenhausgeschichte nach.
Das Ensemble wurde seitdem von der Communauté de communes Vienne und Gartempe erworben, um im Rahmen des Übereinkommens Pays d'art et d'histoire ein Interpretationszentrum für Architektur und Landschaft zu errichten.
Das Bauwerk wurde 2024 als historisches Denkmal eingestuft und hat erste Notarbeiten erhalten, insbesondere die vollständige Sanierung der Dächer.

During the Revolution, the old hospital installed on the site of the Maison-Dieu was deemed unsanitary. The hospital function was then transferred to the former convent of the Daughters of St. Francis, near the church of Notre-Dame.
First restored, the buildings are then the subject of a vast reconstruction project between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, giving the site its current configuration. The exhibition traces this period of its hospital history.
The whole has since been acquired by the Community of communes Vienne and Gartempe in order to install a Centre for the interpretation of architecture and landscape, within the framework of the convention Pays d'art et d'histoire.
Listed as a historical monument in 2024, the site has benefited from initial emergency work, including the complete repair of roofs.

Durante la Rivoluzione, il vecchio ospedale situato sul sito della Maison-Dieu è considerato insalubre. La funzione ospedaliera fu trasferita nell'ex convento delle Figlie di San Francesco, vicino alla chiesa di Notre-Dame.
Restaurati, gli edifici sono poi oggetto di un vasto lavoro di ricostruzione tra la fine del XIX secolo e l'inizio del XX secolo, dando al sito la sua configurazione attuale. La mostra ripercorre questo periodo della sua storia ospedaliera.
L'insieme è stato da allora acquisito dalla Comunità di comuni di Vienne e Gartempe per installarvi un Centro d'interpretazione dell'architettura e del paesaggio, nell'ambito della convenzione Pays d'art et d'histoire.
Inserito tra i monumenti storici nel 2024, il sito ha beneficiato dei primi lavori di emergenza, in particolare la completa ristrutturazione dei tetti.

À la Révolution, l’ancien hôpital installé sur le site de la Maison-Dieu est jugé insalubre. La fonction hospitalière est alors transférée dans l’ancien couvent des Filles de Saint-François, à proximité de l’église Notre-Dame.
D’abord restaurés, les bâtiments font ensuite l’objet d’un vaste chantier de reconstruction entre la fin du XIXe siècle et le début du XXe siècle, donnant au site sa configuration actuelle. L’exposition retrace cette période de son histoire hospitalière.
L’ensemble a depuis été acquis par la Communauté de communes Vienne et Gartempe afin d’y installer un Centre d’interprétation de l’architecture et du paysage, dans le cadre de la convention Pays d’art et d’histoire.
Inscrit au titre des monuments historiques en 2024, le site a bénéficié de premiers travaux d’urgence, avec notamment la réfection complète des toitures.

Durante la Revolución, el antiguo hospital instalado en el sitio de la Maison-Dieu fue considerado insalubre. La función hospitalaria fue trasladada al antiguo convento de las Hijas de San Francisco, cerca de la iglesia de Notre-Dame.
Restaurados en un principio, los edificios fueron objeto de una amplia reconstrucción entre finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX, dando al lugar su configuración actual. La exposición relata este período de su historia hospitalaria.
El conjunto ha sido adquirido desde entonces por la Comunidad de municipios de Viena y Gartempe para instalar un Centro de interpretación de la arquitectura y del paisaje, en el marco de la convención Pays d'art et d'histoire.
Inscrito como monumento histórico en 2024, el sitio se ha beneficiado de los primeros trabajos de emergencia, incluida la reparación completa de los tejados.
