“Qualia” exhibition by Gustave Didelot
Exhibition from November 13 to December 20. Opening of the exhibition Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. FREE ENTRANCE.
The Qualia exhibition by Gustave Didelot revolves around the way in which our imagination, shaped by myths, stories and culture, influences our postures, our gestures and our perceptions. The title refers to the philosophical concept of “qualia”: these unique subjective experiences that everyone experiences in a personal way. The artist explores how we interact with images, objects and ideas.
In his work, Gustave Didelot designs imaginary and utopian worlds, where each spectator is invited to interpret what they see in their own way, based on their own qualia. These worlds thus become “distorting mirrors”, as the artist calls them, where everyone finds a place for their own imagination.
Gustave Didelot lives and works in Geneva. A graduate of the HEAD art school in Geneva, he has been creating his paintings for almost 10 years.
