Plouf and Splatsch, two frogs, ask each other questions. I say two frogs, but it's actually a frog and a bee. Well, a frog-bee... a frog... a bee! Yes... well. Every why has its answer, eh.
To answer, then, our two frogs (okay, bee) use pebbles, dirt, leaves, bubbles, and lots of other things. They laugh too, and above all, they have lots of emotions. They want to know! Yes, they want to know EVERYTHING... AND UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING! Pouquooooaa tries to confront the adage "you'll understand when you grow up," to put it away in the closet and to treat children as beings capable of understanding everything. He tells children and the adults around them that curiosity and a thirst for knowledge are essential qualities that must be nurtured. At a time when Google, Chatbots, and Siri answer all our questions, Pouquooooaa aims to highlight the connection between living beings, the commitment to trying to find an answer, and the risk of offering a convoluted explanation to land on one's feet.

Plouf et Splatsch, deux grenouilles, se posent des questions. Je dis deux grenouilles, mais c’est plutôt une grenouille et une abeille. Enfin une grenouille-abeille… une greneille… une abouille ! Oui…bon. A chaque pourquoi sa réponse, hein.
Pour répondre, donc, nos deux grenouilles (bon d’accord, abouille) utilisent des cailloux, de la terre, des feuilles, des bulles et pleins d’autres trucs. Elles rigolent aussi, elles ont pleins d’émotions surtout. Elles veulent savoir ! Oui, elles veulent TOUT savoir… ET TOUT COMPRENDRE ! Pouquooooaa tente de faire face à l’adage « tu comprendras quand tu seras grand », à le ranger dans le placard et à prendre les enfants pour des êtres capables de tout comprendre. Il dit aux enfants et aux adultes qui les entourent que la curiosité et la soif de connaissance sont des qualités essentielles dont il faut prendre soin. A l’heure où google, les CHATBOT et SIRI répondent à toutes nos questions, Pouquooooaa souhaite valoriser le lien entre êtres vivants, l’engagement dans une tentative de réponse, la prise de risque d’une explication tarabiscotée pour retomber sur ses pattes.
