This evening, you will witness in our fake cinema a fake classic operetta (lover, misunderstanding, flouted love, class struggle and cheerful tunes) without genius and judged as mediocre by the critics. Its name: The present.

You are therefore invited to attend a false broadcast of the thousandth performance of this false operetta. Between the acts, the public attends interviews, archives and stolen moments behind the scenes of an endless tour where everyone tries in their own way to break the routine. Jubilant and mischievous, this crazy show addresses one of the most most unmentionable for an artist: how can we continue to arouse pleasure when we ourselves are overcome by weariness?
A nod to all those moments when we say to ourselves with a sigh: “Come on, one more time”. Founded in March 2010, the Comiqu'opéra company's main mission is to promote lyrical art while being focused on the creation of new artistic forms. Led by an association passionate about opera, convinced that opera must be renewed, the company offers several multidisciplinary shows totaling nearly 450 performances in Switzerland and abroad.
