Anatole and his pot, it is especially another way to be in the world, to see and look at it, another way, funny, weird and poetic, to cross it. He is lagging behind, often off the mark, but he is also ahead, where others have forgotten to be.
But Anatole and his pot, it is also each one of us, dragging along what bothers us and embarrasss us and we must learn to tame. And so, hers may be just a little more cumbersome, but her journey is very similar to ours.
Since its creation in 2006, Cie Marizibill has been exploring the theme of difference, disability and the difficulty of being, combined with a formal search for original contemporary stage writing based on nontheatrical materials. Highly choreographed and intimately linked to music, it aims to transcend borders and genres, and mixes disciplines and tools.
