Gardi Hutter is an essential Swiss artist. A red-nosed clown who has traveled the world for 30 years with her quirky, tousled-haired character. After Jeanne the Washerwoman, then the Secretary and the Souffleuse, she takes on the features of a lunar seamstress executing her creations in a non-academic way.
With these enormous scissors, she pulls no punches, sparing neither wickedness nor misfortune. His work and his life become entangled. In a seemingly disorderly ballet, she cuts a tiny doll's dress with great strokes of giant scissors. But the wheel of destiny is also part of the sewing workshop…
Gardi Hutter graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zurich. With Ferruccio Cainero, Mario Gonzales, Nani Colombaioni and the CRT (Milan), she created her own clown character and her own imaginary universe in Italy. Since 1981, she has produced 9 shows and numerous international awards have crowned her immense talent and her exceptional universe. She performed for a season at the Swiss National Circus Knie and even at the Swiss Parliament in Bern, during the celebration of 700 years of the Confederation.

Gardi Hutter est une artiste suisse incontournable. Une clownesse au nez rouge qui parcourt le monde depuis 30 ans avec son personnage décalé aux cheveux ébouriffés. Après Jeanne la Lavandière, puis la Secrétaire et la Souffleuse, elle prend les traits d’une couturière lunaire exécutant ses créations d’une façon peu académique.
Avec ces énormes ciseaux, elle ne fait pas dans la dentelle, ne ménageant ni la méchanceté ni l’infortune. Son travail et sa vie s’emmêlent. Dans un ballet désordonné en apparence, elle découpe à grands coups de ciseaux géants une robe de poupée minuscule. Mais la roue du destin fait également partie de l’atelier de couture…
Gardi Hutter est diplômée de l‘Académie d‘art dramatique à Zurich. Avec Ferruccio Cainero, Mario Gonzales, Nani Colombaioni et le CRT (Milan), elle a créé en Italie son propre personnage de clown et son propre univers imaginaire. Depuis 1981, elle a produit 9 spectacles et de nombreux prix internationaux ont couronné son immense talent et son univers exceptionnel. Elle a joué une saison au Cirque National Suisse Knie et même au Parlement Suisse à Berne, lors de la célébration des 700 ans de la Confédération.
