FRAC Normandie - Caen

The Frac Normandie is above all a collection dedicated to contemporary creation, for forty years and in all its forms, from the most traditional, to the most current: new media, installations... Unlike a museum, it aims to circulate the works of its collection throughout Normandy and beyond. The Frac Normandie organizes exhibitions throughout the year in different cultural places or heritage buildings of the region. The FRAC also develops many actions aimed at the educational environment and the medical-social field (hospitals, retirement homes...). The FRAC has two exhibition venues of its own, one in Sotteville-lès-Rouen and the other in Caen. Four exhibitions of major artists or the collection punctuate the annual program of Frac Normandie, but also white cards to exhibition curators or invitations to artists in connection with the region.
