On November 22nd, 1890, Charles de Gaulle is born in Lille in 9, rue Princesse at his(her) maternal(motherly) the place of grandparents, Jules Emile and Julia Maillot, industrialists of the textile(textile industry). From 1890 till 1912, Charles de Gaulle means spend his(her) holidays in this family house a nostalgic feeling of which he will always keep(guard).
