The Botanical gardens are an institution with scientific vocation intended(designed) to make discover to all public world of plants, biodiversity, nature, sustainable management of natural resources. The Botanical gardens are an educational place and entertaining and a powerful tool of observation which receives the smallest and the biggest(greatest)! It is also a source(spring) of information in unsuspected domains: investigations of criminal police, identification of plants in customhouse or the disease of the geranium of your neighbour! In Bordeaux, two gardens complement each other. In the district Ancient country-house, you will find a garden about 5 hectares, modern, thematic, close to our uses(practices). The other garden, about 1 hectare located at the heart of the Public Garden in city centre, presents plants in a scientific and historic way. Beautiful walks and new knowledge in prospects(perspectives), to discover absolutely!
