Musée du cloître de Notre-Dame-en-Vaux

Monument was registered on the world heritage of the UNESCO, the cloister, built in years 1170-1180 was destroyed by the canons and the parishioners in 1759 and 1766\. Excavations(Searches) begun(undertaken) in 1963 and 1976 put back(hand) to day vestiges of an exceptional iconographic wealth. The decorative capitals(big tops) and historiés, statues columns, cornices and pillars which trained(formed) an unique(only) set(group) marking transition between the Novel and Gothic are presented in a museum especially built today to receive them nearby immediate of the area of the old(former) cloister.
