War Colours Tour

Remaining in the archive images as a war in black and white, the Great War was nevertheless lived in color. From the blue horizon of the uniforms to the fields of blueberries, from the brown of No Man’s Land to that of the trenches, from the red garance of the pants of 1914 to that of the Red Cross, from the yellow mustard of the infamous gas to the black powder of the cannons, it is through the full range of colours that have characterized it that the visit reconstructs a unique picture of the conflict. Family audience from 8 years. By Laurence Stolarczyk, guide-speaker.
