The City of Stained Glass

The City of Stained Glass is located in Troyes, in the heart of the Aube in Champagne, European land of stained glass. It offers a journey through the heart of the stained glass windows, from the Middle Ages to the present day through a permanent exhibition with renewed works, as well as temporary exhibitions. Opened in December 2022 by the Département de l'Aube, the Cité du Vitrail is located in the Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte, a remarkable historical setting that also houses an apothecary.
On the occasion of the European Night of Museums, the Cité du Vitrail offers flash tours of works chosen by the cultural mediators at 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30 from the reception of the Cité du Vitrail.
