Volcanoes rumble, spew smoke, light up the sky with incandescent eruptions, and explode. Their activity can be as spectacular as it is dangerous. For their scientific research, volcanologists have studied them up close. Haroun Tazieff, Katia, and Maurice Krafft were the most famous among them.
This exciting lecture will take you soaring through the air with the ash clouds, send you hurtling down the slopes with the lava flows, and plunge you into the mysterious depths of volcanoes to discover what lies hidden there!
