The MEG and the Petit Black Movie are joining forces for the screening of a series of short films.
The MEG's ciné-dimanches continue to focus on three essential and current notions: decolonisation, gender and sustainability.
Documentary, fiction and animation films addressing these themes will be screened free of charge in the Museum's Auditorium on several Sundays per month.
Once a month, there will be a special children's and teenagers' programme as part of the Ciné-dimanches Kids and Teens.
Finding one's place in a world that privileges the male gender, being ostracized, considered as a witch, finding oneself stuck in an arranged marriage, approaching puberty without the support of a mother... Being a girl or becoming a woman is not always easy, especially in a patriarchal society. While the films do not sugarcoat the sometimes painful reality of their daily lives, they hint at the possibility of emancipation for their young heroines.

Le MEG et le Petit Black Movie s'associent dans le cadre des ciné-dimanches pour la projection d'une série de courts-métrages.
Les ciné-dimanches du MEG continuent autour de trois notions essentielles et actuelles: la décolonisation, le genre et la durabilité.
Des films documentaires, des fictions et des films d'animation abordant ces thématiques seront projetés gratuitement dans l'Auditorium du Musée plusieurs dimanches par mois.
Une fois par mois, retrouvez une programmation spéciale enfant en adolescent-e-s dans le cadre des Ciné-dimanches Kids et Teens.
Trouver sa place dans un monde qui privilégie le masculin, être ostracisée, considérée comme une sorcière, se retrouver coincée face à la perspective d’un mariage arrangé, aborder la puberté sans le soutien d’une mère… Être une fille ou devenir femme n’est pas toujours aisé, a fortiori dans une société patriarcale. Si les films n’édulcorent pas la réalité parfois douloureuse de leur quotidien, ils laissent présager de la possibilité d’une émancipation pour leurs jeunes héroïnes.
