A water leak outside the exhibition rooms requires investigation by the technical services, forcing us to close various areas, including the museum auditorium. The 11 a.m. session must therefore be cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Another session in the ‘Ancestral Tales and Languages’ series will take place at 3pm at the Maison de Quartier Sous l'Étoile (Avenue des Communes-Réunies 73, 1212 Lancy). The session is free and open to all.
Film series accompanying the exhibition As part of the temporary exhibition ‘Afrosonica - Soundscapes’, a series of films for adults, children and teenagers will be screened between May and December, offering a different perspective on the themes explored in the exhibition.
In collaboration with the FILMAR en América Latina festival, and more specifically the FILMARcito Young Audiences section, the series of short films ‘Contes et langues ancestrales’ (Ancestral Tales and Languages) will be screened in the MEG Auditorium!
Contes et langues ancestrales is a series that celebrates indigenous cultures through stories told in original languages or without dialogue, conveying memory, wisdom and resistance. It includes works from Gabriela Badillo's 68 Voices – 68 Hearts project, dedicated to the indigenous languages of Mexico.
