Introductory workshop to Amapiano dance in the heart of the Afrosonica-Sound Landscapes exhibition.
This workshop immerses you in the world of Amapiano, an enchanting South African dance style combining technical groove and ethereal elegance. Born in the townships of Pretoria in the early 2010s, this musical and dance style fuses deep house, jazz and traditional rhythms. A veritable global cultural phenomenon, Amapiano embodies the creative energy of South Africa's youth, inviting them to express their bodies freely, subtly, proudly and deeply rooted in the country's roots and history. Amapiano thus enables each and every one of us to make this energy our own.
Performer : Loubna, a dancer who combines passion and roots, exploring Afro-urban dances and freestyle. She transmits a dance inhabited by exchange and spirituality. A journalist by training, she also questions the cultural and social meaning of our movements.
As part of the first Sundays of the month program, this workshop is free of charge and requires no registration.
Please come dressed for a dance class, and let yourself be carried away by the sounds and energy of dance.

Atelier d'initiation à la danse Amapiano au cœur de l’exposition Afrosonica-Paysages sonores.
Cet atelier vous propose une immersion dans l’univers de l’Amapiano, une danse sud-africaine envoûtante, alliant groove technique et élégance éthérée. Né dans les townships de Pretoria au début des années 2010, ce style musical et dansé fusionne deep house, jazz et rythmes traditionnels. Véritable phénomène culturel mondial, l’Amapiano incarne l’énergie créative de la jeunesse sud-africaine et invite à une expression corporelle libre, subtile, fière et profondément ancrée dans les racines et l’histoire du pays. L'Amapiano permet ainsi à chacun et chacune de s'approprier cette énergie.
Intervenante : Loubna, danseuse qui mêle passion et racines, en explorant les danses afro-urbaines, et le freestyle. Elle transmet une danse habitée par l’échange et la spiritualité. Journaliste de formation, elle interroge également le sens culturel et social de nos mouvements.
Dans le cadre des premiers dimanches du mois, cet atelier est exceptionnellement gratuit et sans inscription.
