As part of its LaM Vagabonde season, the LaM is launching a series of cabarets that will celebrate artistic creation in all its forms. For this second event, the LaM and the LAAC give carte blanche to artist Louise Siffert. Performance, which occupies a central place in his work, allows him to propose theatrical staging, often tinged with a camp aesthetic.
For this new cabaret, the artist develops a poetic program by inviting artists with transversal practices such as Kidows Kim, Pablo Altar, or Johana Beaussart. They will take the audience on dreamlike paths oscillating between shadow and light, where strange characters come to haunt this fantastic universe.
Visitors will also be able to discover a rich program of videos, music and readings of spiritualist texts between dream and nightmare with references to Thérèse Bonenalbay, Augustin Lesage, Fernand Desmoulin...
