Recreate the Bourbansais Vegetable Garden, to enrich the visit of the Estate, while respecting the original plans of the seventeenth century, and make it live in the rhythm of the seasons; these are the ambitions of the owners. The «French style» garden, such as those inspired by André Le Nôtre during the reign of the Sun King, expresses the will to correct nature to impose order and symmetry in opposition to the English garden. This French model, which has been imitated by many European royal courts, has a political stake. It marks the grandeur and mastery of the monarch, it is still today the ultimate reference of landscape mastery.
