On Friday, October 2, 2026 at 7 p.m., at the Château de Flers, the AJVAH will welcome the writer Allain Glykos for a conference about his new book, The Child in Ruins. Inspired by the massacre of Mariupol in 2022, this book questions the ravages of war through the eyes of childhood. An exceptional meeting with the author, followed by a time for discussion with the audience.
The author will present his book around a meeting with his readers, which will be followed by a signing session around a cocktail of Greek specialties offered by the association.

Le vendredi 2 octobre 2026 à 19 h, au Château de Flers, l’AJVAH accueillera l’écrivain Allain Glykos pour une conférence autour de son nouveau livre, L'enfant en ruines. Inspiré par le massacre de Marioupol en 2022, cet ouvrage interroge les ravages de la guerre à travers le regard de l’enfance. Une rencontre exceptionnelle avec l’auteur, suivie d’un temps d’échange avec le public.
L'auteur viendra présenter son livre autour d'une rencontre avec ses lecteurs, qui sera suivie d'une séance de dédicaces autour d'un cocktail de spécialités grecques offert par l'association.

Op vrijdag 2 oktober 2026 om 19 uur, in Flers Castle, verwelkomt de AJVAH de schrijver Allain Glykos voor een conferentie over zijn nieuwe boek, het Kind in ruïnes. Geïnspireerd door het bloedbad van Mariupol in 2022, stelt dit boek de verwoestingen van de oorlog door de ogen van de kindertijd in vraag. Een uitzonderlijke ontmoeting met de auteur, gevolgd door een tijd van uitwisseling met het publiek.
De auteur zal zijn boek presenteren rond een ontmoeting met zijn lezers, die zal worden gevolgd door een ondertekeningssessie rond een cocktail van Griekse specialiteiten aangeboden door de vereniging.
