Once upon a time, there was... a funny spectacle. On stage, three storytelling specialists hold a lecture on this subject that they seem to master perfectly. After having declined their numerous qualifications, these two men and this woman are quite solemn (although a bit wacky) and dissect the myths and symbols. And then, everything changes... The lecture shifts towards the dream and our speakers become the protagonists of the stories they study. Accompanied by some piano notes, here they are in the shoes of Hansel, Gretel or Little Thumb, experiencing the fear of the dark, ogres or abandonment in the forest. Il était une fois... un drôle de spectacle. Sur scène, trois spécialistes du conte tiennent une conférence sur ce sujet qu’ils semblent maîtriser à la perfection. Après avoir décliné leurs nombreuses qualifications, ces deux hommes et cette femme assez solennels (bien qu’un poil loufoques) décortiquent les mythes et les symboles. Et puis, tout bascule... Le cours magistral glisse vers le songe et nos intervenants deviennent les protagonistes des histoires qu'ils étudient. Accompagnés par quelques notes de piano, les voici dans la peau de Hansel, Gretel ou du Petit Poucet, faisant l'expérience de la peur du noir, des ogres ou de l’abandon dans la forêt. Un voyage théâtral comme une mise en abyme, où le rêve tutoie la réalité.

Er was eens... een grappig spektakel. Op het podium houden drie verhalende specialisten een lezing over dit onderwerp die ze perfect onder de knie lijken te hebben. Na het afwijzen van hun talrijke kwalificaties, deze twee mannen en deze vrouw zijn vrij plechtig (hoewel een beetje gek) en ontleden de mythen en symbolen. En dan verandert alles... De lezing verschuift naar de droom en onze sprekers worden de hoofdrolspelers van de verhalen die ze bestuderen. Vergezeld van enkele piano noten, hier zijn ze in de schoenen van Hansel, Gretel of Little Thumb, ervaren de angst voor het donker, ogres of verlaten in het bos.
