This conference is the occasion to inaugurate the exhibition «21 centuries of Orléanaise history, from Cenabum to the Metropolis», presented at the Archives du Loiret until December 6, 2024. The exhibition is based on the collective book entitled La nouvelle histoire d'Orléans, to be published in September 2024 (co-edition Presses Universitaires de Rennes and Presses Universitaires François Rabelais de Tours). The book, co-directed by Pierre Allorant and Gaël Rideau, will be presented in preview. A guided tour of the exhibition will be offered after the conference.
