Too rarely played, the Dumbarton Oaks Concerto is one of Stravinsky’s most exciting works. Bounding and mischievous, the music is happily inspired by Brandenburg Concertos of Bach, by opposing different instrumental groups like a baroque concerto. There is a wonderful tribute to Schubert’s music in the Fancy composed by the Bulgarian Dobrinka Tabakova. Played all over the world, this piece will be performed by the chef Delyana Lazarova (finalist in 2020 of the La Maestra competition). Crowning a program placed under the sign of humor and originality, the radiant Symphony 92 «Oxford» is a marvel that Haydn composed during his stay in England.
