The hero of the first part is an old worker who retires after 40 years of work. We are witnessing his tragedy. As a result of his radical change of existence, he finds neither purpose nor meaning in his life. The second part presents the fate of a young farmer who leaves his village and his family to go to the city and learn a trade. The form of his existence is also completely transformed and we follow his first steps in the foreign and unusual environment of his new life.
