The exhibition integrates the two parts of the work undertaken by the Garance workshop from works from the Musée Saint-Remi, one in 2019 around the portrait and the self-portrait, questioning physical and social discrimination, the other in 2024 questioning the representation of movement in animal figures.
Project in partnership with the Garance workshop of the Centre Médico-Psychologique Maupassant of the EPSM, led by Jean-Michel Hannecart, visual artist.

Musée Saint-Remi

  • Grand Est
Housed in the former abbey of Saint-Remi, architectural jewel and haven of peace inscribed on the list of the world heritage of UNESCO, the museum Saint-Remi retraces the history of Reims and its region since its origins. The route includes re-enactments and historical models. The archaeological and artistic collections, as well as everyday objects, tell the evolution of the ancient and medieval metropolis. The figure of Saint Remi, bishop of Reims who baptized King Clovis, is also highlighted, as well as the role of the monks, guardians of the Holy Bulb used for the coronation of the kings of France.
