The highlight of the renovation of the Roche Léau is undoubtedly the reconstruction of the roof of its Tower. Masons, carpenters, roofers and potters follow one another and use all their know-how in this site. Florence Le Cun, architect and owner of the place, with her husband Bertrand, works with them in confidence. Icing on the cake: redesigned ridge ears made of enamelled stoneware. New 2024: the sumptuous oak floor laid "in scale". And the continuation of historical research on the place and its inhabitants told during the visits.

À propos du lieu

Manoir de la Roche Léau
22630 Evran
  • Côtes-d'Armor
  • Bretagne
The Manoir de la Roche Léau was built in the 17th century near the Ille-et-Rance canal. It is of modest size but its meticulous apparatus of red shale, the quality of its oak frames and its tower-staircase give it a look of great. Since 2020, it has been carefully renovated thanks to craftsmen with ancestral know-how. Each year, its garden presents novelties: a vegetable-mandala permaculture, ponds, places preserving biodiversity and, all around, a pasture welcoming horses. Next to the Logis, a beautiful renovated building offers an exhibition space highlighting the productions of artists and craftsmen from here and abroad.
