The castle was built in 1753 by the architect Joseph Brousseau. In 1857 the agricultural landscape park was created by the Comte de Choulot. The facades and the roof are classified in 1977 as historical monuments. The staircases and the wrought iron railing, the living room and dining room as well as the facades and roofs of the common are classified in the Inventory of Historic Monuments.
